A Place of Worship
For Over 1000 Years
The parish serves
the communities of Worplesdon, Fairlands and Wood Street Village.
It has two churches, St Alban's, Wood Street Village and St
Mary's, Worplesdon. Whilst there has been a church building in
Worplesdon for over one thousand years, there has only been a
church in Wood Street Village since 1925 and the present building
dates back to 1967.

Christian Aid Week 11th-17th May 2008
The theme for this year’s Christian Aid Week is Empowering
People. Last year in this parish we raised £3,500 for
Christian Aid. If you would like to be part of this exciting
fund-raising opportunity by helping with house to house

Ascension Day:
Communion
is on Thursday 1st May at 8.00pm: Join us
for this celebration of our Lord’s return to glory. Jesus’
earthly ministry comes to it natural conclusion and he returns
to heaven in order that he may with us always and everywhere.

There will be a Parish
Communion at 9.15am on 18th May at St Albans and the 'GFW' will be on
18th May (3rd Sunday in May) at 10.45am both special services
