Anybody living in Fairlands, Broad Street, Wood Street Village or Worplesdon is welcome to ask for their child to be baptised (or christened as it is sometimes called) at either St Alban’s or St Mary’s Church.
Welcome! Our two churches St Mary’s, Worplesdon and St Alban’s, Wood Street Village are dedicated to serving the communities of Worplesdon, Fairlands and Wood Street Village – we hope our parish is like a "light set on a hill"
Services range from the quiet contemplation of daily morning and evening prayer through to Weekly Parish Communion services at both churches on Sunday or if you fancy exploring something a little bit different try our monthly iWorship.
Vibrant and energetic, our children are an integral part of parish life who are free to worship in their own way. We love welcoming them with many different activities from toy bags to Sunday clubs as well as our monthly Family service – come and find out!
